Milestones :
Phiroz Sethna & Company was established in the year 1902 to serve as Insurance agents and cotton Dealers for leading textile companies in Bombay.
In 1926, the company also started managing a group of cotton ginning & pressing factories in Central India.
When business expanded the firm was changed to a Private Limited Co, registered office & separate sales office in Mumbai.
In the year 1962, the first factory, Phiroze Sethna Industries, was established in Thane (Northern suburb of Bombay). Here the Company pioneered the manufacture of PVC impression rollers used in duplicating machines exclusively for Gestetner India Ltd. and PVC Dip molded products for both consumer and industrial applications.
In the mid-eighties, there was a spike in the manufacture of automobiles & many Indian companies collaborated with Japanese counterparts to produce passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and two-wheelers. This resulted in the demand for sophisticated Sealants & adhesives. Phiroze Sethna was successful in the development of suitable products like PVC Sealants Underbody coatings & other sealants to meet this demand from Auto OEMs & auto ancillaries.
In 2017, Acquisition by Chembond Chemicals Limited for Adhesives, Sealants, Coatings Products.
